We use bovine colostrum sourced from mature USDA dairy cows not treated with antibiotics. It is shipped frozen and then low-heat dried to preserve the proteins, fats and other nutrients. One of the most important nutrients in colostrum is a type of glycoprotein known as immunoglobulins which bind to and destroy unwelcome bacteria. Among immunoglobulins, type G (IgG) is the most common. IgG antibodies may support the activity of natural killer (NK) cells for a robust immune response. Swanson High Immunoglobulin Colostrum is standardized to a potent 40% IgG content.
